Ergonomic & Safe Cabin

The MDG 41 Compliant Cabin has been designed to incorporate the latest in industry standards and regulations with thoughtful placement of foot switches, brakes, control systems and emergency systems. The cabin offers a dual seat arrangement, with two 160KG rated seats with adjustable height and spring suspension to ensure drivers operate in comfort and safety.

Responsive Drive, Brake & Steering System

The Waracar offers speed and agility due to its 4-wheel Traction Drive and Steering system with two 37kW DC variable speed motors attached to 3.58:1 ratio traction reducer gearbox. As an added benefit, the HBT Waracar can steer while being towed with no power applied. The hydraulic brake system is designed for maximum safety and reliability and runs on a separate oil circuit and reservoir. This Isolates the brake oil from the main hydraulic system – reducing the chance of oil contamination and preventing heat generated during braking from reaching the main circuit, so it runs at a lower temperature.

Efficient & Reliable Conveyor System

The Waracar’s conveyor system offers maximum productivity and efficiency thanks to the outboard chain conveyor system managed by the HBT control system. Whether you choose the standard model or the 18-3 wide body version, this system’s heavy-duty worm drive allows for rapid payload discharge.

Tried & Tested Cable Reel System

The cable reel system is designed for maximum durability under the most extreme workloads. The system features overfill and run out protection that increase durability and efficiency. The cable reeling device is operated by a hydraulic motor that ensures a consistent tension to match the speed shuttle car’s speed. A built-in cable minder automatically lays the cable onto the reel and the cable reel covers automatically lift when the conveyor boom is elevated to decrease the potential for cable damage.
