Switchgears

HBT compact stations (switchgears) provide power distribution, real-time monitoring, and control of mobile and stationary machinery in coal mines and underground ore mines. They are permanently mounted on the machine. A close cooperation with the OE machine manufacturers ensures that function and design of the power supply and control units are perfectly matching the machine.

HBT provides flexible solutions regarding volume, environmental conditions and process parameters are our strength. All compact stations are suitable for the harsh operation in underground mining, tunnel construction sites and wherever there are special challenges in terms of reliability, robustness, and safety. The compact stations can be locked electrically and mechanically.

For use in potentially explosive areas, the respective switchgear compartment features type of protection “d” – flameproof enclosure. Depending on the requirements, the terminal compartments are available either in type of protection “d” (flameproof enclosure) or “e” (increased safety).

The HBT stations for non-hazardous areas are characterized by their compact and robust design.
