Lünen, September 2, 2025 – HBT GmbH in Lünen is pleased to welcome new apprentices to its team this year. On September 1, 2025, six young talents began their training in various fields—an important step toward their professional future and a clear commitment by HBT GmbH to support young professionals at the Lünen-Wethmar site.
“We are very pleased to welcome motivated apprentices again this year,” said Christoph Koslowski, CEO of HBT GmbH. “Training young people is very important to us—they are the skilled professionals of tomorrow and a central part of our long-term company development.”
The new apprentices have started their careers in the following professions:
- Industrial Clerk: Svenja Bohle
- IT Specialist for System Integration: Rafik Khalo
- Industrial Mechanic: Jay Kian Wiebusch and Alexander Stoll
- Construction Mechanic: Alex Gawlikowicz
- Cutting Machine Operator: Gheorghe Seulean
As in previous years, HBT GmbH provides comprehensive training that combines theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience. The apprentices benefit from close collaboration with experienced colleagues, gain deep insights into their future roles, and are actively involved in operational processes.
Part of the practical basic training in technical trades takes place in cooperation with Wilo SE in Dortmund. Vocational schooling is provided at regional vocational colleges: Lippe Vocational College Lünen, Hellweg Vocational College in Unna, and Leopold-Hoesch Vocational College in Dortmund.
“We are pleased to continue our commitment as a training company and to offer young people opportunities in an exciting, technology-driven environment,” added Christof Jürgens, Head of Apprenticeships at HBT GmbH.
With the return to in-house production and the continuous expansion of the Lünen site, HBT sends a clear signal for the future. Since the acquisition by Hauhinco Holding GmbH in February 2023, the company has established itself as a strong international mining equipment provider—with a clear focus on quality, innovation, and nurturing young talent.
